More hipster iPhone photos…

So to my confusion, a lot of people were actually interested in what I’ve been doing with my dinky little iPhone camera. I’m not always the biggest fan of this cross processing look, but I do think it spices my phone up a bit. Here’s a collection of what my little phone can do from 2010. A lot more pictures after the jump!

It’s still snowing …

So it’s been snowing here in New Brunswick, a lot. There’s still snow on the ground from Christmas! I think I got the idea, Mr Weatherman who says it’s going to snow for the next 3 days.

Some new stuff

For a  while now I’ve been meaning to put together some sort of portfolio style page for people wanting to see everything in one place, especially for my wedding work. Unfortunately you all have the displeasure of seeing work done with an untrained eye and poor coding. One day the time will come that I give you all the web presence eye candy you deserve and commission someone who knows what they’re doing. What I have now is mostly from my personal library, but eventually there will be a nice healthy dosage of everything that I do. I’m really looking to update it frequently, so definitely check it out every once in a while.

Over the next month I’m going to be adding some new features to the blog, also reviving something I used to love and did all the time. There are just so many plans, I don’t know where to start. Winter break really gave me the kick in the butt I needed to change gears and get to work. I hope all of you will enjoy what I got for you.

Hipster Apps

I took this last year with one of those silly Hipster iPhone Applications. It’s kind of the reason why sometimes I use my iPhone to take pictures, but also the reason why I hate myself for leaving the real one at home. Doh! Going through last year’s stuff is really reminding me of what it was like in high school when I literally carried a point and shoot around everywhere.

2011

I hope you’ve all enjoyed the last few weeks of the holidays. I spent much of mine driving and shoveling snow getting some quality time in with friends and family. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve last posted, we can thank Finals for that. And now that we’re looking into the new year, like many others, I’ve got a a renewed feeling of productivity and what I hope will be a big push towards some lifetime goals. Christmas and New Years came and went so quickly, now I’m just trying to more or less get my life together.

2011 Will have a few things in store for me, to start off I should be graduating come May. Rutgers is all I’ve known for the last four years and I’m eager and anxious to get out and fend for myself. People often look over the fact that I will be a US Army Officer come May also, I’ll be a Second Lieutenant. I’ve joined the New Jersey National Guard, branching Military Intelligence. I chose not to go into the Active Duty Army for many reasons, one of my most ambitious being my one day career photography. My military journey will take me to Arizona first, spending around 5 months in Fort Huachuca learning my trade.

Ever since my visit to Europe last Spring Break, I’ve caught the desire to travel. This Spring Break I’ll be down in Louisiana for Mardi Gras, a good way to end my senior year I’d like to think! Other than Arizona I’m really hoping to fill this year with a ton of miles traveled. During all of this I’ve got all my goals in photography. I’m trying to make this a big year, it’ll be tough going but I’ve got great support and there’s no other way I’d like to chase this. I’m not looking to share what those goals are right now, but if I manage to pull them off 2011 is going to be awesome.
